Careers Fair

Inspiring Futures. Creating Opportunities. Opening Doors.

Friday the 15th of January 2027

At Blessed Thomas Holford Catholic College, we are passionate about helping our students discover their potential, explore opportunities and make informed decisions about their futures.

We are delighted to be hosting our BTHCC Careers Fair on Friday 15th January 2027, bringing together a wide range of employers, businesses, colleges, universities, training providers and organisations to inspire our students and introduce them to the many pathways available beyond school.

Why are Careers Fairs important?

Choosing a future career can feel like a big decision, particularly when there are so many different opportunities available. Our Careers Fair gives students the chance to:

  • Explore a wide range of careers, industries and professions.

  • Meet employers and professionals and hear about their own career journeys.

  • Find out more about apprenticeships, university, further education and training.

  • Ask questions and gain valuable advice about qualifications and skills.

  • Discover opportunities they may never have considered before.

  • Build confidence and begin planning their next steps.

Sometimes, one conversation can spark an interest, inspire an ambition or open the door to an exciting future.

Could you support our Careers Fair?

We are looking for local businesses, employers, colleges, universities, training providers and organisations who would be willing to give up some time to come into BTHCC and speak to our students.

Whether you are a large employer, a small local business, a specialist training provider or an individual working in an interesting profession, your experience and knowledge could make a real difference.

We would love you to:

  • Share information about your industry and career opportunities.

  • Talk to students about your own career journey.

  • Explain the qualifications, skills and experience needed to enter your profession.

  • Promote apprenticeships, work experience, training routes and future opportunities.

You do not need to have all the answers – simply being willing to talk to our young people and share your experiences can be incredibly valuable.

Get involved!

If you are interested in having a stand at our Careers Fair or would like to find out more about how you can support the event, we would love to hear from you.

Please contact Mrs Hussain by email to express your interest. - L.HUSSAIN@BTHCC.ORG

Together, we can help our students explore their options, raise their aspirations and take their next steps with confidence.
