CAFOD is the official overseas aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, part of Caritas Internationalis.

Across parishes, schools and homes in England and Wales we inspire people to raise money, petition politicians and pray, so that together we can support communities in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, as they strive to find practical, sustainable solutions to deep-rooted challenges.

Every year, we take part in the Big Lent Walk for CAFOD, joining thousands across the country in walking, reflecting, and raising vital funds for communities in need. It’s a wonderful way for our students and staff to live out our mission, come together in solidarity, and make a real difference during the season of Lent.

 

Tatton 10k - 7th February 2026

We’re incredibly proud of the 11 Sixth Form students and 10 members of staff who took on the Tatton 10K on 7th February in support of CAFOD. Their fundraising will help tackle injustice and poverty across 40 countries worldwide, because a better world needs all of us.

To support their efforts, our Sixth Form students hosted a Fundraising Day and raised over £1000 for CAFOD.
