The Legacy of the Olympics

A team of roving reporters from BTH in Altrincham find out whether the promised Olympic legacy has actually arrived at BTH school.

They interview our PE staff, a promising athlete, and those not so inspired by sport. One question remains: is the Olympic legacy a false promise or has it been fulfilled?

The New Pope

Reporters from BTH interview the current Head of RE and other important people around the school to find out the answer to one important question: What do we want from our new pope?

They explore the route Pope Francis took to become the Head of the Church and decide on what the young people of Altrincham really want to see at the top of his agenda.

Reporting the Weather

Reporters from BTH in Altrincham report the weather… and yes… there’s more rain and snow!

Girls Aloud Breaking Up

A team of school reporters from BTH school in Altrincham try to stem the rising panic induced by the recent announcement of Girls Aloud’s demise.

They quiz a number of Year 9 pupils on their opinion and provide a shoulder to cry on for one teacher who is distraught at the thought of no more Girls Aloud hits.

To be 13… in 2013

Two young reporters explore what it means to be 13 in this year, 2013.

They interview some current Year 9 pupils and quiz them on their interests and dislikes.  It comes to light that 13 year olds are happy to be their age and appreciate the opportunities given to them in the 21st century – this is further explored in our interviews with members of staff considering what it was like when they were 13!
